In order to provide a fun experience for every type of student, we offer private, small group, and ensemble instruction.
Private Instruction
Personalized weekly lessons that focus on each student’s musical goals. Instructors are available for piano, guitar, bass, drums, voice, woodwinds, brass, strings, and percussion.
Small Group Instruction
Up to two students learn from the instructor and also from one another. This is a popular and economical option for siblings and friends.
Ensemble Instruction
An instructor plays with the students as they learn skills and techniques specific to various musical genres. Offerings include Jazz, Rock, Pop, String, Woodwind, and Brass ensembles.
Drum Set
Drum Set
Learn how to be the driving force behind the band. Study popular beats used in many genres. Increase your skills with paradiddles and polyrhythms. The drum set is often played in rock, r&b, folk, jazz, blues, and fusion settings.
Latin Percussion
Latin Percussion
Learn proper technique and posture. Enjoy learning rhythms in the afro-latin tradition from the Caribbean and mainland Latin America. Latin percussion instruments include (among others): congas, bongos, clave, cow bell, agogo bell, shekere, and timbales.
Piano
Piano
Learn proper technique and posture, how to read music on the staff, as well as chord progressions and basic compositional theory. The piano is played in many settings.
