Natalie

Natalie is a multi-instrumental musician and educator, originally from San Rafael and now based in Oakland. She has toured and taught in many areas of the globe including India, Mexico, South Korea, China, Germany, Mongolia and Peru. She teaches private lessons for piano, voice, trumpet, and applied music theory.

She received a BFA from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City and spent several subsequent years on the music scene in lower Manhattan appearing at famed jazz clubs and other prominent music venues. Now based in the Bay Area, she works professionally throughout the entire Northern California region.

Natalie specializes in sharing her knowledge of improvisation with budding young musicians. She has a passion for inspiring a love for music across all age and experience levels.

When she isn’t teaching or performing, Natalie enjoys people watching at Lake Merritt and hiking in Redwood Regional forest. She is also an avid scuba diver and beach bum.
